Island Pump and Tank - Millbury, MA
Now hiring Vacuum Truck Drivers to provide service and maintenance for fueling facility, service station, and car wash equipment for our New England branch. Experienced vacuum truck operator preferred, however we are willing to provide classroom and field training to the right candidate.
Description of Work
- Provided vacuum truck services to remove water and/or product from underground & aboveground storage tanks, dispenser pans, and car wash facilities
- Program and maintain gasoline service station equipment
- Leak detection maintenance and alarms
- Mechanical repairs
- Leak detection maintenance and alarms
- 24 Hr. emergency response
Requirements
- Clean CDL-A or CDL-B (CDL-A preferred) with Haz-Mat & Tanker Endorsements
- Willing to work overtime
- Able to lift up to 10-50 lbs.
- Job requires frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching and standing
- Use hand tools
- Work in confined space
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Will provide if needed)
- Ability to utilize mobile technology (iPad, tablet, etc.)

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in the following preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Vacuum Truck Operations – Hazardous Waste Manifest/BOL Preparation
• UST’s – Veeder-Root, Incon, Omntec
