The Federazione Autonoma Italiana Benzinai (Faib), Fegica, Cisl and Anisa, which are organizations related to the Italian fuel retail industry, have jointly announced a new 48-hour stoppage from 22.00 of June 23 until the same time of June 25.
The decision, which follows a similar stoppage in April, was announced amid disagreements between the groups and the country the Infrastructure and Transportation as well as Economic Development ministry authorities.
The organizations complains of high royalties “which in these years have produced a vertical decay of the quality of the public service offered to customers in addition to prices for fuel and services which are among the highest in Europe which obviously damage both consumers and service station operators,” Faib said.
