We have an expert team of plumbers, equipment operators, carpenters, electricians, and technicians whose trade experience is directly within the chemical and fueling facility industries. Our core competencies include pump and tank services for chemical, petroleum, and heating oil bulk storage; compressed natural gas (CNG) and alternative fuel facilities; overall fueling facility construction; car wash installation; hydraulic lift and service station equipment installation and maintenance.

Compressed Natural Gas

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)

Compressed natural gas (CNG) is the next generation of fuel for heating and transportation. It is much safer for the environment. CNG produces 20% less greenhouse gas emissions and has lower nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, and particulate emissions. It can easily be transported in pipelines, locally and nationally, which saves on transmission costs and takes tanker trucks off the road. Petroleum spills contaminate soil and groundwater, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to clean up. CNG spills simply dissipate into the air.

Hydrogen Installations

Island Pump & Tank has been installing Hydrogen fueling facilities since early 2001. Our factory trained techs have the right equipment to perform the job efficiently and safely. Many fleets are turning to Hydrogen as an alternative fuel to power vehicles and forklifts. Having a zero emissions fleet is something that is happening now. Pure hydrogen vehicles emit Zero green house gases and the only substance that comes out of the tail pipe is water.
